T.1 Injured Reserve
a) A player on Injured Reserve is defined as a player who has an IR or an IR-r next to their name on your roster page.
b) If a player is activated from the IR in the NFL then that player must be activated in Gangland Dynasty . The system will not allow you to submit a lineup when a player on your IR is no longer eligible for IR, therefore it is your responsibility to have or make room for that player on your active roster or to release that player altogether. We follow all MFL designations.
c) Teams may place a maximum 30 players on their IR at one time.
d) Any player who is acquired via Blind Bid or FCFS waivers during the season that has an IR or IR-r next to their name may not be deactivated to your IR. They must remain on your active roster.
e) In the off-season, players may not be placed on a team's IR until team's have completed assignment of all their off-season contracts.
f) All IR players will be activated to your active roster on February 20th.
T.2 Injured Reserve Cap Relief
When a player is placed on IR, the player's contract years are still counted against your cap, however a team will get one year of temporary cap relief made available.
When an IR player comes off IR you will lose that temporary cap relief, therefore, you must have space available whether you are activating, trading or releasing the player.

Players on I.R. can be traded but must be placed immediately on IR with their new team. The team trading the IR player will immediately lose the one year of temporary relief and must have the cap space to do so. The team acquiring the IR player will receive receive one year of temporary relief.
